Hsi-Wen Tung was born in Taipei, Taiwan, in 1980.She received her undergraduate and master degrees in Department of Power Mechanical Engineering, National Tsing Hua University. She studied her master thesis in Micro Device Laboratory and focused her study in tunable focal length microlens. After graduating, she had worked at Taiwan Semiconductor manufacturing company (tsmc) as a process integration engineer for two years. She joined IRIS as a PhD student in 2009. Her research interests are in fabrication of microrobots.
