This year's MRC Graduate Symposium poster session was combined with the exhibition of 21 very attractive research images. The following two images from our group were voted 1st and 2nd by the audience:
1st - André Lindo: Nanorobotic Jellyfish: this device was produced by electrodepositing iron in Anodic Aluminum Oxide (AAO) templates. Each "tentacle" has less than 100nm in diameter.
2nd - Hsi-Wen Tung: Micro-lollipops consisting of SU-8 and CoNi.
