Abstract

We report the fabrication of nickel nanowires obtained by pulse-electrodeposition in anodized aluminum oxide layers on silicon. The effect of the current density of deposition on the morphological, structural and magnetic properties of the nickel nanowires was systematically analyzed. Nanowires were wirelessly manipulated by applying external magnetic fields to demonstrate their suitability as drug carriers.
