Salvador Pané i Vidal
Salvador Pané i Vidal was born in Barcelona, Spain in 1980. He completed his high school education in Col•legi Jesuďtes de Casp in 1998. He received his B.S. degree in Chemistry from the University of Barcelona in 2003. Same year, he started a Master in Experimental Chemistry (specialty in Electrochemistry) in Electrodep (www.ub.edu/electrodep) belonging to the Physical Chemistry Department of the same university where he got his M.S. degree. His work was focused on ternary alloys with magnetoresistive properties. In 2004, he started the PhD in the same department working on magnetic composites obtained by electroplating. He came as visitor at Institute of Robotics and Intelligent Systems in May 2007. His research interests are micro and nanorobotics, electrodeposition and biocompatible conductive polymers, magnetic materials and composites.
