Li Zhang
Li Zhang received the B.S. degree from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 2000, and the M.S. degree from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Christian Albrechts University, Kiel, Germany, in 2002, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Basel, Basel, Switzerland, in 2007. From 2002 to 2006, he was with the Laboratory for Micro- and Nanotechnology, Paul Scherrer Institute, and also with the Department of Physics, University of Basel. In 2007, he joined the Institute of Robotics and Intelligent Systems, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich, Zurich, Switzerland, as a Postdoctoral Researcher, and became a Senior Research Scientist in July 2009. His current research interests include micro-/nanofabrication, wireless sensing and actuation, micro-/nanorobotics, and micro-/nanoelectromechanical systems (MEMS/NEMS) devices.
