Kaiyu Shou

I received my B.S. degree from the Department of Automation and Control Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU), Xi'an, China in 1999. After that, in 2000, I joined the Institute of Systems Engineering of Xi'an Jiaotong University and received my M.E. Degree there in 2003. During that period I worked on dynamics analysis and controller design of 6DOF Parallel Robot. Since 2003, I worked for the Robotics Research Institute as a research assistant in University Dortmund (UDO), Germany. My research focused on the robot force control at that time. I joined the Institute of Robotics and Intelligent Systems at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), Zürich as a PhD student in April 2006. My current research interests are design, simulate, drive and control of NEMS.
