Dominik Bell
After school in Germany, Switzerland and England, and after his military service, Dominik studied Aerospace Engineering at the University of Bristol in England and at Purdue University in the USA and graduated from Bristol with an M.Eng. degree after four years in 2002. In the same year, he started postgraduate studies at the University of Cambridge in England doing research in MEMS actuators and sensors and in micro mechanical testing. For his one-year-studies and thesis he received an M.Phil. degree. In November 2003, he joined IRIS as a PhD student with a research focus on MEMS and NEMS devices and on wireless sensing.
