Berna Özkale
Berna Özkale was born on September 6th 1988, in Istanbul, Turkey. She received her bachelor degree in chemical engineering from Istanbul Technical University (ITÜ) in 2009. Consecutively, she got accepted to the biomedical engineering program at ETH Zurich. She conducted her master thesis on drug delivery from conductive polymer thin films which was completed with the collaboration of IRIS and NANOMAT. She finished her master studies in 2011 and started as a PhD student in IRIS in 2012.
